Sergii Kryvoblotsky, head of R&D at MacPaw, is raffling off a Worldwide Developers Conference 2019 pin to raise money for Ukrainian aid.

The money raised will go to the MacPaw Development Fund to provide Ukrainian defenders with medicine and protective equipment.

Help MacPaw donate to Ukrainian aid

MacPaw operates primarily from Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. Although the city beat off earlier Russian attacks, President Vladimir Putin’s forces are still seeking to overthrow the country. The war continues primarily in the east of Ukraine.

Kryvoblotsky wants to help, and he’s using his WWDC19 pin to raise money.

“Lots of UKR engineers didn’t visit #WWDC2022. Thrown by russia’s war to the past, it’s hard to think technology and future,” said Kryvoblotsky on Twitter. “My WWDC2019 pin is about peaceful times. I want to raise some money for charity and give this #PinToWin to one of Ukraine’s supporters.”

MacPaw promises that, “All funds raised will go to MacPaw Development Fund to provide Ukrainian defenders with the latest technological solutions for tactical medicine and protective equipment.”

How to join the Ukraine aid WWDC pin raffle

To join the raffle, start by donating any amount to the MacPaw Development Fund. Then reply to Kryvoblotsky’s tweet about the pin with “donated + #PinToWin🇺🇦”

The raffle is going on now, and will continue until June 23 at midnight (PT). On Thursday, June 24, Kryvoblotsky will choose the winner who gets the pin with the help of random.org.
