Belkin Connect Pro Thunderbolt 4 Dock
Belkin’s Thunderbolt 4 hub allows a wide range of accessories to connect to a Mac or PC. It includes a pair of Thunderbolt 4 ports (one upstream and one downstream) for up to 40 Gbps communication. Plus, there’s a USB-C port that supports 3.1 Gen 2 for 10 Gbps connections. It can handle up to 90 watts.
The hub sports a pair of HDMI 2.0 ports, and offers Mac users to 4K video resolutions for dual displays, and up to 6K video resolution for a single display. (Note that M1-based MacBook computers from 2020 support only one external screen.)
The Belkin Connect Pro Thunderbolt 4 Dock also includes two USB-A 3.1 ports and two USB-A 2.0 ports. And an SD card reader. It has a Gigabit Ethernet port and a 3.5mm audio port, too.
Belkin Thunderbolt 4 Cable
Thunderbolt 4 provides up to 40 Gbps of bandwidth, but not over cheap USB-C cables. Getting that speed requires a cable designed for it.
The Belkin Thunderbolt 4 Cable is designed to support 40 Gbps of total bandwidth. And Power Delivery up to 100W too.
It’s made in 1 meter and 2 meter lengths, and is backwards compatible with Thunderbolt 3, USB4, USB 3.2, and USB2.0.
