Apple TV+ released the first full trailer for WeCrashed to get viewers pumped for the limited series that premiers in March. It’ll star Jared Leto as the controversial co-founder of WeWork as he builds a cult of personality that eventually helps take the company down.

WeCrashed is a twisted love story

Apple TV+ released the trailer on Thursday in cooperation with the review-aggregation site Rotten Tomatoes.

The trailer, like the show, portrays the relation ship between Adam Neumann (Leto) and his wife and fellow WeWork exec, Rebekah (Anne Hathaway). Theirs is “the love story at the center of it all,” according to Apple.

WeCrashed is based on actual events. Neumann built WeWork from a single co-working space into a global brand worth $47 billion in less than a decade. But the Apple TV+ also shows how that valuation dropped to $10 billion in a few months amid questions about how Neumann ran the company.

Lee Eisenberg and Drew Crevello developed the series. Eisenberg has a multiyear deal with Apple, and previously created the critically acclaimed Little America for Apple TV+. The show will be directed by the team of John Requa and Glenn Ficarra.

The first three episodes of WeCrashed will debut on March 18, 2022. They’ll be followed by new weekly installments each Friday during its eight-episode season through April 22.

The Apple TV+ catalog grows this spring

Apple’s streaming video service boasts a rapidly expanding selection of series and films, many with big Hollywood stars and directors. (Leto has earned an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award and a SAG Award. So has Hathaway.)

Other new shows coming soon to Apple TV+ include The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey, a drama starring Samuel L. Jackson set to premiere March 11. Later in March will come Pachinko, a multinational and multigenerational drama.

All of these, as well as WeCrashed, come with a $4.99-per-month subscription to Apple TV+.
