The amazing Samuel L. Jackson will star in The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey when it premieres on Apple TV+ in March. A new trailer gives an advance look at a series that’s sure to be both uplifting and heartbreaking.

Apple’s streaming service also revealed on Friday that the espionage series Slow Horses starring Gary Oldman will debut in April.

In addition, Apple TV+ gave the launch date for more shows coming this spring — all filled with celebrities.

Samuel L. Jackson returns to Apple TV+ in The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey

The limited series is adapted from a novel about a 91 year old man suffering from dementia who takes an experimental drug that revives the clarity of his mind and energy of his body. But there’s an inescapable side effect: he won’t live to 92.

The first episodes of The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey will debut globally on Friday, March 11 on Apple TV+.

Thrillers are a staple of Apple’s streaming service, and Oscar winner Gary Oldman will lead an ensemble cast in one coming in April.

Slow Horses follows a team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department for MI5. Oldman stars as Jackson Lamb, the brilliant but irascible leader of the spies who’ve ended up together due to their career-ending mistakes.

The six-episode drama, adapted from Mick Herron’s first novel in the Slow Horses series, will premiere globally on Apple TV+ on Friday, April 1, 2022.

A star-studded collection of women will appear in Roar on Apple TV+. The anthology series of “darkly comic feminist fables” will feature Oscar, Emmy and Golden Globe winner Nicole Kidman as well as Emmy, Grammy and Tony winner Cynthia Erivo; Emmy nominee Issa Rae; Emmy winner Merritt Wever; SAG Award nominee Alison Brie; Emmy nominee Betty Gilpin and more.

Apple’s streaming service will premiere eight episodes of Roar simultaneously on Friday, April 15, 2022.

It will detail the remarkable accomplishments and global impact of Johnson’s life, both on and off the court.

Dear… takes an unusual approach to biographies by using letters written to the celebrities by ordinary people whose lives have been changed in some way through their work.

Season one premiered on Apple TV+ in 2020, and Dear… season two will reach viewers on Friday, March 4. It will spotlight the late André Leon Talley, Viola Davis, Malala Yousafzai, Jane Fonda, Ava DuVernay, Billy Porter, Sandra Oh, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Laird Hamilton.
