The special, set to start streaming in December, looks like a turnaround for Lucy, whose arrogance, bossiness and cruelty generally gets her cast as the villain.

Apple asks viewers to ”start a new tradition with Lucy and the Peanuts gang as they plan a New Year’s party they’ll never forget.”
Apple owns the rights to all previous holiday specials starring Charlie Brown and his friends, and is creating new ones in cooperation with WildBrain.
For Auld Lang Syne will start streaming Friday, December 10, 2021, on Apple TV+. It’ll be joined by It’s Christmastime Again, Charlie Brown, a collection of Christmas-themed vignettes starting December 3.
In addition, the Apple TV+ children’s programs Stillwater and Get Rolling With Otis will release holiday-themed episodes debut December 3. Plus, Mariah Carey’s second Christmas special for Apple TV+ premieres that same day.
Watching any of these comes with a $4.99-per-month subscription to Apple TV+.
