If you sweat a lot when you work out — and if your Apple Watch bands barely stand up to the torrent — rejoice. Twelve South rolled out its new ActionBand Thursday. The company designed the soft, absorbent, wide band to keep up with the hardest workouts and resulting perspiration.

Twelve South already offers workout-focused Apple Watch bands Cult of Mac covered previously, the ActionSleeve and ActionSleeve 2. But the Twelve South ActionBand is a little different.

Twelve South ActionBand for workouts

Given that the Apple Watch is a leading fitness tracker, you probably wear it to the gym. You may have noticed not all bands are cut out for the gym. Some don’t fit perfectly for the sensors to take good readings for your heart rate and such. Others aren’t breathable or absorbent enough and they get wet.

Enter ActionBand. Made from terry cotton, like the soft and thick bath towels and bathrobes you find in nice hotels, it handles your perspiration. Along with the cotton the band includes stretchy Lycra, for an adjustable and snug fit that keeps the watch steady and lets you wear the band on your wrist or further up your arm.

And with the watch band you get a matching band for your other arm, as in matching sweatbands. That’ll help you keep your grip on those massive barbells you’re always throwing around — and look like a pro tennis player while you’re doing it.

Easy in, easy out

After your beast-mode workout, you can easily pop your Apple Watch out of its little frame in the ActionBand and back into the clean, dry band you wear most of the time. Back at home, the ActionBand can go right in the wash with your gym clothes.

ActionBand is compatible with the Apple Watch Series 4, 5, 6, and Apple Watch SE. Twelve South said compatibility with Apple Watch Series 7 is coming soon.

Price: $29.99, with a 20% discount if you order three or more.
