Soundcore by Anker rolled out the new version of its top earbuds, the Liberty 2 Pro set. The new Liberty 3 Pro Earbuds are 30% smaller and, like their predecessors, have no stem. But they feature a more powerful driver, personalized active noise cancellation (ANC) and a more comfortable fit, the company said.

Soundcore by Anker introduced the high-end Liberty 3 Pro Earbuds with a stemless design, personalized ANC with three settings to adjust how much outside sound gets in, and a smaller, ergonomic design with silicone ear wings. The wings include pressure-relief structures for a comfortable fit.

Even though the Liberty 3 Pro earbuds are 30% smaller than the previous generation and have no stem, they fit in a more powerful, 10.6mm dynamic driver for sound quality and six upgraded microphones for noise reduction and clarity during phone calls.

By the way, if you like stems on your earbuds, try Soundcore by Anker’s Life P3 buds, released in July.

Updated technology

HearID ANC technology Anker includes on the Liberty earbuds automatically assesses outside conditions and in-ear pressure for a personalized ANC experience. Three separate settings allow adjustments.

The company said its second-generation Astria Coaxial Acoustic Architecture (ACAA) with dual drivers offers improved sound over the previous Liberty 2 Pro model.

Battery life and touch controls

The earbuds manage up to six  hours of battery life with ANC turned on and up to eight hours with it off. The charging case provides approximately four additional charges. The case provides an extra 24 hours of play time with ANC and up to 32 without it.

The company’s fast-charging technology gives the buds three hours of battery life in about 15 minutes, the company said. The case supports both USB-C and wireless charging.

You can configure exterior touch controls for functions like play/pause, volume and track control. To further optimize the Liberty 3 Pro buds, you can use the Soundcore app to match your hearing response.

The Liberty 3 Pro buds have splash-proof water resistance with an IPX4 weatherproof rating.

Soundcore by Anker Liberty 3 Pro Earbuds are available in four colors: Midnight Black, Frost White, Fog Gray and Dusk Purple. You can buy them on the company’s website or at Amazon for $149.99 until  October 14 (regular price $169.99).
