If you don’t like smartphone cases but refuse to let their iPhone 12 go naked, Nomad has you covered. It just rolled out its stylish Leather Skins and tempered glass screen protectors for the iPhone 12 series.

Seems like the accessories maker should have brought out these products months ago, what with the iPhone 13 coming out soon. Better late than never, though.

Nomad’s reputation for making high-quality accessories for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac means the company’s new offerings are usually worth a look.

Leather Skin

Nomad makes its new skins from the same supple Horween Leather it uses for iPhone cases, sourced from the old Chicago tannery of the same name. The leather develops a patina over time, giving your aging handset a dose of character.

But the skins are more minimal than cases. Each one is a precision-cut piece of leather backed with 3M adhesive to grip your iPhone 12, whichever model you have.

The covering, just 0.6mm thick, works fine with a MagSafe charger, Nomad said. It even came out recently with a leather case for your MagSafe charger, by the way.

Nomad includes an instructional video on its site to help you apply the skin correctly. Watch it below. It’s not difficult to do, but it’s best to get it right when you’re working with an adhesive.

Nomad’s leather skins are available in black and brown colors.

Screen protector

Along with the skins, Nomad now offers its own screen protectors for the iPhone 12 series. They’re cut from Japanese tempered glass for a precise fit that matches the company’s cases and skins.

The screen protector, 0.33mm thick, gives your iPhone 12 additional  impact and scratch resistance along with touch sensitivity.

Nomad said the protectors’ oleophobic coating reduces smudges. The product comes with screen cleaning and alignment tools.

Like the Leather Skin, the Screen Protector uses adhesive. Once again, Nomad shows you how to apply it correctly in the video below.
