Amid the mechanical keyboard mania that has gamers and others clickety-clacking all over the place, gaming provider Razer has unleashed Keycap Upgrade Sets and a selection of wrist rests to add color and style to your trusty old keeb.

Known for putting RGB lights on its laptops, keyboards and accessories (even earbuds), Razer decided it better offer something so people can also bling out the gear they already have, too. Enter two keycap upgrade kits with colorful keycaps and matching cables, as well as your choice of ergonomic wrist rests.

Phantom Keycap Upgrade Set

The new Phantom Keycap Upgrade Set lets you choose between making your keyboard more minimalist or more colorful.

When your keyboard’s RGB lights off, the “pudding” keycap design gives the keys a stealthier, minimalist style. When the keyboard is on, the keycaps’ translucent sidewall allows RGB lighting to come through.

The keycaps feature bottom-lasered legends. That should make them less prone to wear through constant use.

The Phantom set has 128 keycaps. It’s compatible with Razer’s Mini, Tenkeyless and other full-sized mechanical and optical keyboards that feature a standard bottom row U.S. or U.K. layout.

The Phantom Keycap Upgrade Set comes in classic black or mercury white colors.

PBT Keycap and Coiled Cable Upgrade Set

The PBT Keycap and Coiled Cable Upgrade Set brings the durability of Doubleshot PTB plastic to your keyboard. The durable, textured keys should not wear down to a shiny finish, Razer said.

The braided, roughly 6-foot Coiled Cable is a USB-C to USB-A cable can replace most keyboards’ USB-C detachable cable.

The PBT Keycap and Coiled Cable Upgrade Set comes in Razer green, quartz pink, classic black and mercury white colors.

Ergonomic Wrist Rests

Razer Ergonomic Wrist Rests help you stay comfortable, even for long periods at work or play.

They come in four variations for different keyboard types and sizes:

  • Full-sized keyboards: Razer Ergonomic Wrist Rest Pro with cooling gel memory foam
  • Full-sized keyboards: Razer Ergonomic Wrist Rest with leatherette memory foam
  • Tenkeyless keyboards: Razer Ergonomic Wrist Rest with leatherette memory foam
  • Mini keyboards: Razer Ergonomic Wrist Rest with leatherette memory foam

The rests’ anti-slip rubber feet help keep them steady. They don’t physically attach to the keyboard, so you can just pick the ones that best fits you and your keyboard(s).

Price: Phantom Upgrade Keycap set is $34.99; PBT Keycap and Coiled Cable Upgrade Set is $49.99; wrist rests start at $20.

Where to buy: Razer (exclusively until September 11, then at various retailers)
