The critics consensus says, “As comforting as a buttery biscuit from a friend, Ted Lasso‘s sophomore season is a feel-good triumph that plays into the show’s strengths while giving its supporting team more time on the pitch.”

Ted Lasso quickly became beloved
Ted Lasso follows an endlessly optimistic American football coach (played by Jason Sudeikis) who is recruited to lead an English soccer team. The results are both funny and uplifting.
The new season will, once again, feature the titular football underdog coach as he tries his darnedest to take AFC Richmond to the top of the Premier League.
Season one of the Apple TV+ show was given a Peabody Award, Screen Actors Guild Awards, Critics Choice Awards, Writers Guild Awards, Golden Globes and AFI Television Program of the Year.
The complete first season of Ted Lasso is available for Apple TV+ subscribers to enjoy now. And season 2 kicks off July 23. Watching it requires a $4.99-a-month fee, but that includes an array of other TV shows, from comedies to sci-fi.
