Logitech’s Combo Touch keyboard case just launched for iPad Air 4. It includes a detachable keyboard and trackpad, as well as a protective case with kickstand. And Bluetooth is unnecessary.

There are versions for other iPad models out already. And there is a new color option for these.

Logitech Combo Touch makes iPad into a detachable laptop

The Combo Touch adds a keyboard to the redesigned 2020 iPad Air without preventing it from still being a tablet.

Logitech’s product starts with case a to protect the iPad from bumps and scratches. Plus it offers a fold-out kickstand and a slot for the Apple Pencil 2.

The other half of the Combo Touch contains a backlit keyboard and a trackpad. “Our click-anywhere Multi-Touch trackpad delivers a world-class, highly responsive trackpad experience,” promises Logitech.

Bluetooth isn’t necessary because the accessory uses the Smart Connector built into the back of the tablet. The keyboard and trackpad draw their power directly from the iPad.

The Combo Touch for iPad Air 4 in Oxford grey launched Wednesday on Logitech’s web site. It’s be available in a sand color in July.

The new new sand color just debuted for the versions of the keyboard case for the 12.9-inch and 11-inch iPad Pro. These were already available in Oxford grey.
