Snapback Slim Air is a slender leather wallet with a pocket on the side that holds an AirTag. If you want to keep tabs on your credit cards and cash with one of Apple’s new wireless trackers, it provides an elegant-looking solution.
“It’s handcrafted in the USA, made from premium Italian leather, and stays slim with the unique design/cutout for the AirTag,” said Nick Augeri, who launched the project Monday on Kickstarter, in an email to Cult of Mac.

AirTag wallets and other accessories
The Snapback Slim Air is designed to slide into your front-pocket like a money clip. It “holds up to six cards, a few folded bills and an AirTag,” according to the project’s Kickstarter page.
After AirTag launched last month, the first thing anybody buying one noticed was that there’s no way to attach one to anything. You can stash an AirTag in a purse or backpack, or in your car’s glove compartment, etc. But attaching one to a keychain or luggage requires an accessory.
Apple sells AirTag accessories, naturally. Apple’s leather key ring retails for $35 — and the Hermès luggage tag goes for an insane $449 (assuming you can find one). Belkin and others make more reasonably priced options, but the AirTag accessory market seems to just be getting started.
AirTag wallets prove a little trickier. Each AirTag measures about the same diameter as a half-dollar coin, but is nearly four times as thick. That makes slipping one in your traditional wallet pretty unworkable.
Some vendors sell plastic grids that hold an AirTag and slide inside a traditional wallet. And a clever (and fearless) DIYer disassembled an AirTag to squeeze the tracker into a wallet.
But those options both seem like hacks. The Snapback Slim Air is one of the first good-looking AirTag wallets we’ve seen. It comes in black or brown. Both colors are made with “quality thread and stitching to ensure durability,” according to the project’s description.

Since it’s a Kickstarter project, the Snapback Slim Air is not available just yet. But it already hit Augeri’s Kickstarter goal of $1,000.
If you get in on the early bird pricing, you can preorder one now for $45. That’s a $10 discount off the list price. Shipping should begin at the end of July.
