Apple has teamed up with grocery and meal deal services Instacart, HelloFresh, and Daily Harvest for its latest Apple Pay offer.
Running from now through March 17, users can receive two free months of Instacart Express membership, plus $5 off their first order, along with reductions on HelloFresh, and Daily Harvest. Check out more details below.
Instacart Express is the membership option for grocery service Instacart. For a monthly or annual fee, it provides unlimited free deliveries on all orders over $35. With the Apple Pay offer, users can get two free months of membership, along with $5 off their first order.
Meanwhile, the HelloFresh meal planning food subscription service offers Apple Pay customers 50% off their first box. They then get an additional 25% off their next three boxes, so long as they pay using Apple Pay. Customers must use the code APPLEPAY when they are at the checkout phase of their order.
Finally, healthy food delivery service Daily Harvest is offering $30 off the first box for customers who pay with Apple Pay. Once again, they must use the code APPLEPAY at checkout.
As noted, the offer runs from now through March 17, giving users until next Wednesday to take advantage.
Apple Pay special offer
Apple frequently partners with retailers for special offers on products via Apple Pay. Previous offers have ranged from free fries at McDonald’s and $1 chicken sandwiches at Burger King to discounts on custom Ray-Bans eyewear and Grubhub orders.
It’s a win-win-win scenario for all involved. For Apple, it’s a great chance to promote its mobile payments service. Meanwhile, the retailers that team with Apple get to bask in the halo effect of Apple’s brand name and tacit endorsement. Finally, users get to benefit because… well, they’re typically pretty good deals. So long as you’re happy to be an Apple Pay user, that is.
