Everyone knows that the iPhone 12 is on the way, but — having been MIA at September’s “Time Flies” event — it’s not clearly exactly when. A leaked video from U.K. mobile network EE and BT could have answers, suggesting that the world’s first 5G iPhones are coming very, very soon.

In a leaked marketing video produced for interval use, EE and BT boss Marc Allera said that, “We are just days away from Apple’s next major launch, a 5G iPhone, which will be a huge boost for 5G.”

BT and EE will, the video claims, be “Europe’s number one partner for Apple” and teams at the company have been “preparing all year to win this launch.”

Apple services boss Eddy Cue also makes an appearance in the video. Cue praises EE for offering a “Full Works” plan. This includes Apple Music, Apple TV+ and Apple Arcade with the iPhone.

This year’s iPhones will likely feature the biggest design overhaul since 2017’s iPhone X. Big changes will include an iPad Pro-style redesign, a faster 5nm A-series chip and a high-speed 5G cellular modem. All handsets are likely to come with OLED displays. Expect camera upgrades, too, including a possible LiDAR sensor on the flagship Pro devices.

According to reports, there will be four iPhone 12 models. These could be called the iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Apple previously acknowledged that this year’s iPhones will be pushed back several weeks. This is related to the manufacturing challenges caused by COVID-19. Some reports suggest that Apple’s iPhone 12 launch will be split this year — with some models shipping before others.

Apple leaker Jon Prosser has suggested that the iPhone 12 will be officially shown off at an Apple event on October 12.
