Apple TV+ preps trio of documentary series exploring humanity and nature

Apple TV+ will premier three documentary series this autumn. Tiny World and Earth At Night In Color will show the wonder of the natural world. Becoming You explores human development.

Enter a Tiny World

Narrated by Paul Rudd, Tiny World uses brand new camera technology to show the ingenuity and resilience of the smallest animals on the planet. The goal is to show how the tiniest creatures see the world, and present the extraordinary things they do to survive.

The first six episodes of will make their global debut on Friday, October 2.

Open your eyes to Earth At Night In Color

Also employing new camera technology, Earth At Night In Color reveals the nocturnal lives of animals in a way never seen before. It follows the moonlit dramas of animals after dark, and promises new insights and never-before-seen behaviors. Narration is by Tom Hiddleston.

All six episodes of this documentary series will debut on Friday, December 4, only on Apple TV+.

Examine childhood development in Becoming You

Becoming You explores how our first 2,000 days shape the rest of our lives. It follows over 100 children across the world, from Nepal to Japan and Borneo, and promises a thought-provoking look at how children learn to think, speak and move, from birth to age 5. The series is narrated by Olivia Colman.

The first six episodes will premiere on Friday, November 13.

Documentaries exclusively on Apple TV+

All three of these documentary series will be available globally only on Apple TV+. Watching any of them will require a $4.99 a month subscription. However, Cupertino includes a one-year free subscription with the purchase of many Apple devices.

They’ll join other documentaries on this streaming service, like The Elephant Queen, Boys StateBeastie Boys Story, and the soon-to-be-released motorcycle odyssey Long Way Up staring Ewan McGregor.
