It’s a great day for everyone who wants a pair of Powerbeats Pro in a bright summery color. Apple on Tuesday began selling these truly wireless headphones in Glacier Blue, Spring Yellow, Cloud Pink and Lava Red.
These accessories have been sold in Black, Ivory, Moss and Navy for a year. No matter the hue, the $249.95 price remains the same.
Despite the FCC approving this new version in April, it’s not clear what’s changed. If anything. Apple describes the 2020 version exactly the same way it does the 2019 one.
Powerbeats Pro are available on the official Apple Store. They can be picked up today, or delivered tomorrow. Or these headphones can also be found on Amazon in all four of the fresh color options.
Groove to Powerbeats Pro
Apple added these sports-focused headphones to its Beats lineup in April 2019. It’s similar to Apple’s AirPods, complete with the H1 wireless chip found in the AirPods Pro. But they boast improved sweat- and water-resistance, along with over-the-ear support to make it tougher for them to dislodge during exercise.
Don’t miss the Cult of Mac’s head-to-head comparison asking if Powerbeats Pro are better than AirPods. Or consider a $149 pair of Powerbeats that aren’t quite as wireless.
