The Samsung T7 isn’t much bigger than a business card, but the portable Solid State Drive (SSD) is available in sizes up to 2TB. And USB-C brings compatibility with a wide variety of Apple computers, as well as other devices.

Designed to be used on the go, a solid aluminum cases makes it shock resistant from drops up to 2 meters.

Samsung T7 goes wherever you do

The T7 includes a USB-C port with USB 3.2 Gen 2. It offers read speeds of up to 1,050 MBps and write speeds of 1,000 MBps. That means it can transfer a 10GB 4K UHD video in just 8.06 seconds, or 200 10MB pictures in just 2.11 seconds.

This SSD can also connect to USB-A ports, though at lower speeds. It comes with both USB Type-C to C and USB Type-C to A cables. Security is also included with password-protected AES 256-bit hardware data encryption.

Samsung even builds in some style, as the accessory is available in Metallic Red, Indigo Blue, or Titan Grey finishes.

The suggested retail price for the Samsung T7 with 500GB or storage capacity is $109.99, a 1TB version is $199.99 and 2TB costs $369.99.

Or choose the more secure Samsung T7 Touch

In January, a version of this external drive with a built-in fingerprint scanner hit the market. The Samsung T7 Touch can be unlocked with the press of a finger.

It comes in the came storage capacities as the standard version, but the prices are slightly higher. The cost is $129.99 for the 500GB version, $229.99 for the 1TB one and $399.99 for the 2TB model.
