Zagg today increased the number of keyboard folios in its product lineup designed for the 2019 iPad. The latest versions of the Slim Book Go and Rugged Messenger fit this 10.2-inch tablet exactly.

Earlier this month, a version of the Zagg Messenger Folio for this newest iPad also hit store shelves.

Zagg Slim Book Go and Rugged Messenger fit the 10.2-inch iPad

The Zagg Slim Book Go for Apple’s $329 tablet comes in two parts. One is a case for the tablet with a built-in kickstand and a holder for the Apple Pencil. The other section is removable and contains a backlit keyboard that communicates with the iPadOS device over Bluetooth. It can pair with the tablet and an iPhone, and easily switch between them.

The Zagg Rugged Messenger for first 10.2-inch iPad also includes a detachable keyboard but focuses more on protection than the Slim Book Go. Its maker promises “formidable layers of protection to guard your iPad against impact and corner damage with durable construction that withstands drops from up to two meters.”

The newest Zagg Slim Book Go and the Zagg Rugged Messenger sell for $99.99 each. They’re both available today on this accessory maker’s website.

The previously-released Zagg Messenger Folio also for the 2019 iPad is a budget option with an attached keyboard.

Don’t confuse any of these new products with previous versions for other Apple tablets. Zagg offers keyboard cases with the same or similar names for 9.7-inch iPad as well as the iPad Pro line. None of these fit the 10.2-inch iPad introduced last year.

Those looking for other keyboard options for this budget slate can turn to the Brydge 10.2, or the Apple Smart Keyboard.
