Haven’t seen The Morning Show on Apple TV+ yet? With all 10 episodes of the first season of the flagship Apple Original now available to watch, Apple has released a behind-the-scenes video intended to sell new viewers on checking out the series.

And, you know, potentially to help get the show in front of the eyes of TV and film award season voters, too. Check out the video below.

The behind-the-scenes The Morning Show video includes interviews with Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, both of whom star and produced the show. It also features words from director and executive producer Mimi Leder, co-star Steve Carell, and others.

It addresses the show’s #MeToo “ripped from the headlines” plot, and serves as a neat lead-in to the show’s first season.

The Morning Show is aiming for awards season gold

Apple uploaded the behind-the-scenes The Morning Show video Sunday ahead of the Golden Globes. The Morning Show received three Golden Globes nominations. Nominations included best performance by an actress in a TV drama for Aniston and Witherspoon. The show additionally picked up a nomination for best TV drama series. Unfortunately for Apple, it failed to win any of the prizes.

The Morning Show‘s next shot at picking up award season gold is on January 20. That’s when the Screen Actors Guild Awards takes place. Jennifer Aniston is nominated for best female actor in a drama series. Steve Carell and Billy Crudup have also both earned nominations for outstanding performance by a male actor in a drama series.

In the meantime, production is currently underway for The Morning Show season 2. Apple initially purchased 20 episodes of the series after greenlighting the show last year.

Have you watched The Morning Show? If so, what do you make of one of Apple’s most heavily promoted shows? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
