If you just dropped $5,000 (minimum) on an Apple Pro Display XDR to go with your $53,000 maxed-out Mac Pro, you probably want a webcam. And, if you’ve got any headroom at all left on your Apple Card credit limit, Logitech has just the thing: a magnetic webcam designed to perch atop your pricey new monitor.
The company designed the new Logitech 4K Pro Magnetic Webcam exclusively for Apple’s new high-end display. And, unlike the rest of the Mac Pro kit, the price isn’t off the charts.
After teasing us with the new Mac Pro earlier in the year, Apple finally started selling the monster computer this morning. With a retail price that starts at $5,999 — and wallet-busting, bespoke accessories like a $999 monitor stand and $400 wheels — it’s not exactly a budget machine. It’s a high-end workstation designed for video and audio pros.
Luckily, for any new Mac Pro owner still stinging from that big outlay, Logitech’s new webcam only costs $200.

The new webcam sports “a contemporary design and seamless mounting experience,” Logitech said in a press release. The chunky webcam attaches magnetically to the Pro Display XDR. And it tilts up and down, so you can catch the perfect pose for your next video chat. It works with video-conferencing apps including FaceTime, Zoom and Skype.
The webcam captures 4K Ultra HD video. And Logitech’s RightLight 3 tech automatically adjusts lighting to suit your situation. “The Logitech Camera Settings app also allows you to customize and adjust brightness, color intensity, contrast and more, so you always look your best on camera,” the company said.
And you get all that for just $199.95 — just 95 cents more than Logitech’s 4K Brio Ultra HD Pro Webcam. The Logitech 4K Pro Magnetic Webcam is available to order today from Apple’s website, with free shipping later this week.
