Oprah Winfrey is on a mission to create the most vibrant book club on the planet as part of her new partnership with Apple.

In a new blog post on her website, Oprah talks about why she decided to team up with the iPhone-maker to share her passion for books. Apple’s deep pockets certainly help, but what Oprah is most stoked about is getting access to the nearly 1 billion Apple devices in use around the world.

“My partnership with Apple gives me a chance to take one of my most joyful experiences and spread the word,” Oprah said. “For me, the only thing more thrilling than being captivated by a brilliant book is being able to share it. Thus, our goal of building the most stimulating book club on the planet.”

Oprah will select one new book every month. Fans can then buy the book, read it and then take part in conversations with the author. Book club conversations with Oprah will be streamed on Apple TV+ which you can access on your iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac. You can also follow the action on Instagram via @oprahsbookclub.

Oprah’s book club is already available in Apple’s Books app for iOS which has some tracking features to help you stay ontop of your reading. The first book selected is The Water Dancer by Ta-Nehisi Coates. Oprah is developing documentaries for Apple TV+ too. The first one made in collaboration with Prince Harry will be available on Apple TV+ in early 2020.
