Apple has launched a new “Lyrics to Live By” video series. The video series features artists explaining the meaning of some of their best known lines.

It accompanies iOS 13’s new real-time lyrics feature which turns Apple Music into a karaoke experience. It lets users view scrolling song lyrics for the music they listen to.

Apple’s new “Lyrics to Live By” landing page promises to “celebrate this new frontier in the listening experience.” The video includes artists such as Halsey, Hunter Hayes and YBN Cordae. They explain their most career-defining lyrics.

There’s also a related page called “Modern Masters” with songbooks from artists including Sia, Julia Michaels, Jack Antonoff, Chris Stapleton, Benny Blanco and others. In addition, Apple features 12 new “Essentials” curated playlists. These shine a light on hits by “songwriting gods and goddesses” such as Elton John, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young and Bruce Springsteen.

Apple notes that:

“Whether it’s today’s biggest artists telling the personal stories behind the indelible lines that double as invaluable life advice or robust playlists showcasing the sharpest lyricists in the history of music, you’ll have a whole new appreciation for that your favorite artists are saying, not just how they’re saying it.”

Apple Music has been getting all kinds of neat upgrades as of late. Earlier this month, Apple launched a new web player for Apple Music. It allows pretty much any PC, tablet or smartphone to access the music streaming service.
