Joseph Gordon-Levitt is reportedly going to produce and star in a show for Apple’s upcoming streaming video service.

Mr. Corman will be a drama centered on an elementary school teacher.

Gordon-Levitt will do it all on the program: from writing scripts to playing the lead character, according to Variety. There are few additional details available at this time, such as when filming will begin or when Mr. Corman will debut on Apple TV+.

Gordon-Levitt got his start on 3rd Rock from the Sun, and more recently has acted in Looper, Inception, The Dark Knight Rises and many others.

Growing Apple TV+

Apple’s Netflix rival is scheduled to launch this fall. Rumor narrows that down to November with just five original programs, including projects from Reese Witherspoon, Stephen Spielberg and Jason Momoa. Many more are in the pipeline however.

A recent unconfirmed report indicates that a subscription to Apple TV+ will cost $9.99 a month.
