Any iconic person who dies before their time occasionally gets photos shared of look-alikes, raising the faintest shred of possibility that they’re alive after all and just enjoying life out of the spotlight.

There’s no shortage of shots of Tupac and Elvis years after their apparent demise. But this week, the Twitterverse exploded when a photo looking a whole lot like Steve Jobs popped up. The Apple co-founder’s doppelganger is in Egypt, FYI.

Obviously it’s not really Jobs, but it’s an impressively uncanny resemblance. (Although surely the real Steve would be wearing an Apple Watch!) Either way, the snapshot caused plenty of folks to flip out on social media. There’s no knowing for sure, but it seems the kind of thing Jobs might have gotten a kick out of.

After all, he did famously open his 1999 Macworld keynote by having Noah Wyle, the actor who played him in Pirates of Silicon Valley, come onstage pretending to be Apple’s CEO.
