Even more new iPad models could be in the pipeline

Two more Apple tablets were added to a Eurasian intergovernmental agency’s database. This pushes the number of mystery iPads expected soon up to seven.

So far, this database has been a very accurate predictor of upcoming Apple devices.

Two more 2019 iPad models. Maybe three?

Models A2200 and A2232 appeared Friday on the website of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). The listing specifically says these are “Tablet computers of the trademark ‘Apple.’”

They join the A2197, A2198, A2228, A2230 and A2068 that first appeared in this database several weeks ago, along with the same note that these are Apple tablets.

These listing almost certainly don’t indicate that seven new 2019 iPad models are in the offing. This company assigns slightly different product numbers for individual configurations — the A2197, A2198 and A2200 are likely the same device with a range of storage and wireless capabilities, for example.

One of these might be the 10.2-inch iPad that was the subject of a rumor earlier this year.

The EEC holds sway in several countries, including Russia, Belarus, Armenia and more. Entries in its product database have already given us early looks at Apple computers, like the iPads that launched this spring.

In the past, devices have generally debuted a few months after appearing on this agency’s website, so these additional 2019 iPads are likely on course for release this fall.
