Apple Music is letting DJ Khaled take the reigns of its most popular playlists as the company’s first-ever Artist in Residence.

Khaled has already put his stamp on the music streaming service by revamping Apple Music’s popular Office DJ playlist. Some of the new songs added include songs from Drake, Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross, Jay-Z, Lauryn Hill and more.

DJ Khaled has partnered with Apple Music for a couple of ads and other projects since 2016. Now his influence will extend to the entire platform.

As part of the new Artist in Residence gig, Khaled is allowed to take over the biggest playlists every month. The Office DJ playlist is getting revamped this month and Khaled teased a Gymflow playlist vibe will come out next month.

The goal of the project is to help break new artists in the process, so if you’re a band or rapper looking for a break, Khaled says you should slide into his DMs.
