Apple has come out with new beta builds every single day this week and today is no exception.
Hot on the heels of yesterday’s fourth beta build of iOS 13 for developers, Apple has released the third public beta of iOS 13 and iPadOS, allowing anyone to test all the new features and bug fixes.
Members of Apple’s public beta testing program can download iOS 13 public beta 3 as an over-the-air update after adding the proper installation file to your device. If your iPhone or iPad has the previous beta installed, you should see the option to download and install public beta 3 in the software update section of the settings app.
What’s new in iOS 13 public beta 3?
iOS 13 public beta 3 is the same as the fourth developer beta that was seeded yesterday. After combining through the update, we found a number of small and major improvements, including some new bugs, so install it at your own risk.
One of the biggest new additions is the ability to right-click on apps with a mouse to bring up context menus. On iPhone, there’s now a new setting for 3-D Touch called Duration that lets you choose how long you need to press before you trigger a peek, pop, or other 3-D Touch function.
Inside iMessage, you’ll now see a new icon for recording a voice message. The Photos app has a new icon to indicate when duplicates are hidden and how many. There are a bunch of small visual changes. You can read about all the latest iOS 13 changes in our roundup.
