The rainbow-colored stage that appeared recently at Apple HQ is about to get its first big-name act; Lady Gaga is reportedly going to perform at the opening event for Apple Park, the company’s ring-shaped campus in Cupertino.
Updated: She did! And Tim Cook tweeted about it early this morning.
Apple changed its official address from One Infinite Loop to One Apple Park over a year ago, but the company has allegedly waited to hold a celebration of the formal opening of its new headquarters until this weekend.
The event will also pay tribute to Steve Jobs, the late Apple co-founder.
Let’s start the show!
At the center of the festivities will be a rainbow stage dreamed up by Apple’s head of design, Jony Ive.
And Lady Gaga will be the headliner. The superstar will be performing at an event exclusively for Apple employees, according to LGN.
Update:
