Against all odds, Apple Card was the most exciting thing coming out of Monday’s keynote event. The credit card itself won’t be available until later in the year. However, in the meantime an Apple promo video lets us salivate at the prospect of the gorgeous titanium wallet pleaser.

As my colleague David Pierini wrote earlier this week, the Apple Card may be the most consumer-friendly credit card yet. While its interest rates maybe aren’t quite as low as hinted at, and it doesn’t offer contactless payments without using your iPhone, it does boast a slew of other advantages.
Most notably, it makes it easier to track payments and understand spending with an intuitive interface. The day, location, amount and time of payment are cleanly listed, making it easier to stay on top of finances. Plus, as mentioned, it’s got a beautiful titanium finish — complete with minimalist (of course) design and laser-etched user name.
