Vizio will soon add AirPlay 2 support to some of its most recent TV sets, and you can try it out early by signing up for the new beta test in the United States and Canada.

AirPlay 2 support will let you stream content from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac — including 4K movies you’ve purchased on iTunes. It will also allow you to control your set from an iOS device.

Vizio was one of a number of TV manufacturers who promised AirPlay support at CES earlier this year. Unlike LG, Samsung, and Sony, which are reserving the feature for their latest sets, Vizio is also adding AirPlay 2 to certain TVs manufactured in 2017.

AirPlay 2 support will be baked into Vizio’s new SmartCast 3.0 streaming platform, which is scheduled to rollout during the second quarter of this year. But you might not have to wait that long to get your hands on it.

You can sign up to test SmartCast 3.0 now if you live in the U.S. or Canada. Simply fill out the form on Vizio’s website and wait for an invite to the test.

Once you have access, you’ll be able to stream TV shows, movies, music, and more to your Vizio TV from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. You will also be able to stream content you can’t typically cast, such as web pages in Safari, by using screen mirroring.

With HomeKit support baked in, too, you will be able to control your TV — including power, volume, and more — using an iOS device. You will even be able to ask Siri to play your favorite shows.
