For the next month, you have a lot longer to return items purchased from the online Apple Store.  This is intended to allow shoppers to buy holiday gifts now and not have to worry about returns until January.

Holiday shoppers should also be aware that Apple offers free two-day delivery on items bought through its website.  Returns are always free.

Apple’s Returns & Refunds page normally says, “You have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.” But that was just changed for the holiday shopping season. A new addition says:

Items purchased at the Apple Online Store that are received between November 14, 2018 and December 25, 2018, may be returned through January 8, 2019.

This is not the first year Apple has extended its return period during the holidays. As in previous years, it allows iPhones, AirPods, iPads, and Macs to be given as a gifts weeks after the end of the normal return window.

Apple Store free shipping

Products purchased from Apple.com get free 48-hour delivery.  But an even better deal might be on the way.

In 2017, this company began offering free next day shipping in mid-December. So if you keep procrastinating, Apple might be there to help you out again this year.

A recent study found that iPhone is the top item on the wish lists of Apple fans, with AirPods coming in second.
