Apple is the perfect company to buy your last-minute gifts from. Tim Cook would probably say.

If you’re planning on buying any Apple products for Christmas (whether that’s for friends and family or a sneaky Yuletide gift for yourself), Apple’s just announced a bit of good news.

For any in-stock items ordered up until 3pm local time on December 22 in the United States, Apple will guarantee next day delivery free of charge. Perfect for those last minute presents!

Regularly, Apple offers free two-day delivery on products. However, it regularly bumps this to free next-day delivery to help boost holiday sales. The holiday season is typically the best for Apple each year, with record numbers of products selling.

It’s worth bearing in mind that the next-day shipping won’t apply to the iPhone X, though. Although Apple has done an impressive job of getting shipping times down for its next-gen iPhone, currently the average wait time in the United States is 3-5 days for AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, and SIM-free iPhones. T-Mobile handsets are still estimated at 9 days.
