The new iPhone XS and XS Max are relatively tough phones. But even with the “world’s strongest glass,” these pricey iPhones remain subject to smashing. Casetify’s new Impact cases for iPhone XS and XS Max can help. These slim, military-grade cases can protecting the iPhones from drops of up to 6.6 feet.

In today’s video, we’re putting them to the test in some real-world scenarios. And, thanks to Casetify, we’re also giving you the chance to win a brand new 64GB iPhone XS Max in gold. Check out the video below to see the cases in action (and find out how to enter to win an iPhone XS Max).

Casetify Impact case

The Casetify Impact cases are constructed of two layers of Qitech, an innovative, shockproof material that makes them two times military-grade drop-proof.

The Qitech material is the rigid, clear structure you can see around edge of the cases. It makes the Impact cases really tough. It can also withstand big temperature transitions (although you’re unlikely to ever really have to put that to the test). The cases can withstand drops of up to 6.6 feet, absorbing impacts to protect the precious phone inside.

The cases come in a variety of different styles and designs, including a clear one for those who want to simply show off the iPhone’s design. All are scratch-resistant. And, at 10.5mm thin, they are the world’s slimmest military-grade protection cases. They don’t cause any problems with wireless charging.

On the front of the cases, a bezel helps protect the iPhone screen. They come with cutouts in all the right places, and the buttons feel nice and tactile.

I’ve tried out a lot of Casetify products in the past. The quality is always top-notch. Each product is made to order and hand-inspected to keep quality control to Casetify’s high standards. But the question is, how protective can these actually be?

Casetify iPhone drop tests

Rather than doing crazy drop tests, I tested the cases in real-world situations. I came up with six common ways people break their phones by dropping them, then put the Casetify cases to the test.

Thankfully, Casetify was so confident in its cases’ ability to absorb impacts that the company sent over a brand new iPhone XS Max we could put through the wringer.

In the video, I put the cases through five real-world drop tests. With each and every drop, the case took the impact in stride, leaving the iPhone untouched.

The cases did their job extremely well, protecting the iPhone XS Max completely. I don’t know what I would have done if I broke another phone.
