Nintendo has confirmed its next game for mobile. Dragalia Lost, an action RPG developed by Cygames, will land on iOS on September 27.

You can watch the game’s first trailer below, and Nintendo will be telling us more about it during a Direct keynote later today.

Nintendo has enjoyed mixed success in the mobile gaming market so far.

It started with Miitomo, which was closed down just two years after making its debut. Then came Super Mario Run, which attracted hundreds of millions of downloads but not enough revenue for Nintendo.

Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem Heroes have been more successful for the Japanese gaming giant — which will hoping for more of the same from its next mobile game.

Dragalia Lost hits iOS on September 27

Dragalia Lost looks like it will be an instant hit among RPG fans. Its first trailer hints at a 3D world, real-time combat, and action-packed monster battles.

Nintendo will reveal more during a Direct presentation at 8:30 p.m. PT/11:30 p.m. ET today. Dragalia Lost will make its official debut in the U.S., Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, and Taiwan on September 27.

There’s no word on a release date for Europe or other regions just yet.

Mario Kart still on the way

Most Nintendo fans are still waiting for the company’s biggest franchises to make the leap to mobile, such as The Legend of Zelda. One of the titles already confirmed for a mobile release is Mario Kart, and we’re still expecting it to arrive ahead of March 2019.
