Apple’s 6.1-inch LCD iPhone is likely to be the least exciting of the company’s 2018-era handsets from a features and hardware perspective. However, it’s also bound to be the cheapest of Apple’s new iPhones and, if you believe the rumors, will feature one other big selling point: color.

Like the bright iPhone 5c which launched in 2013, the 6.1-inch LCD handset will reportedly come in various bright colors. The question is which colors will it come in? A new report possibly sheds some light.

Which colors will it come in?

According to Macotakara, the new 6.1-inch iPhone will come in the same colors as the iPhone silicone and leather cases. That would mean white, black, flash yellow, bright orange, electronic blue, and taupe or gold options.

Interestingly, that wouldn’t include red — which may make sense due to Apple’s habit of putting out special edition (PRODUCT)RED iPhones the last couple of years.

Don’t take this as a cast-iron guarantee, however. According to a previous report by reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone will come in grey, white, blue, red, and orange finishes. Kuo also said that the 6.5-inch OLED model will come in black, white, and gold options.

Would the presence of more colors sway your decision about which iPhone to buy this year? What is your favorite iPhone color in history? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
