The first Battleheart game, a superb pick-up-and-play RPG perfectly suited for iOS, launched way back in 2011. Now a fully fledged sequel, Battleheart 2 is finally set to debut on iOS in the next couple of weeks — and you can pre-order it right now.

If you’re looking to get up to date with Battleheart before the sequel arrives, you’ll also want to check out the excellent 3D spinoff Battleheart Legacy, which launched in 2014. However, Battleheart 2 will be the first proper sequel to the superb 2011 original.
Unlike the regular sequels pumped out annually by massive game studios, the reason for the delay is because developers Mike Mobile are only a two-person studio — meaning that it takes quite a while to develop their titles. From the look of things, the wait will be more than worth it, though!
Battleheart 2 can be pre-ordered for $3.99 at this link. If you pre-order it, it will be automatically downloaded to your iPhone or iPad when it officially launches on July 12.
