Apple Pay users can save $5 off movie tickets when they pair two from ticketing company Fandango.

The offer expires this Sunday, March 4. It is tied in with the forthcoming 90th Academy Awards which takes place on that day. Here is how you get to take advantage of the discount.

Visit Fandango’s website or mobile app, and then enter the promo “STARPOWER” when you are at checkout, having bought two or more tickets in a single transaction. You’ll then need to pay for the transaction using Apple Pay, at which point you’ll save $5 on the total price. The offer is limited to one per customer, and can’t be used in association with any other offers.

Training users to buy with Apple Pay

Apple’s Apple Pay promos are part of an attempt to ramp up the usage of Apple’s mobile payment service. In addition to Fandango, the company’s other weekly offers have included discounts on for Instacart, 1-800-FLOWERS, and more.

During Apple’s recent shareholder meeting, Tim Cook admitted that, “Mobile payments have taken off slower than I personally would have thought if you asked me sitting here a few years ago.” A big hurdle that Apple has experienced is getting users used to the idea of paying with Apple Pay, which promotions like this should help with.

One recent estimate placed Apple Pay usage at around 127 million people around the world. That’s certainly an impressive figure, but it’s only around 16 percent of the 795 million active iPhone user base. Adoption is also disappointing in the U.S. — representing just 1 out of every 4 Apple Pay purchases.
