Ahead of season two of its Stranger Things hit series, Netflix has released a new RPG-style Stranger Things game, available now on iPhone and iPad.

Check out its pleasingly retro trailer below.

This isn’t the first time Stranger Things has been recreated as an arcade style video game. Back in August, Netflix publicized the upcoming series by recapping the first season in RPG form with the “Level Up” trailer. That ad quickly went viral and picked up close to 1 million views on YouTube.

The game makes that concept a reality by giving you the chance to play as Hopper, Nancy and Lucas; exploring different locations from the show, battle with enemies, investigate shadowy government conspiracies, avoid the police, and more.

It also ties neat into the second season, set to debut on Netflix this month, thanks to the new episodes involving an arcade and plenty of references to classic arcade games like Dig Dug.

As for the new game, we haven’t yet had the chance to play through it properly, but it certainly looks a whole lot of fun. Characters all come with their own set of unique abilities, the graphics are era-appropriate, and — best of all — there are no in-app purchases or micro-transactions. Heck, it doesn’t even ask you to insert a new coin every time you lose!

Stranger Things can be downloaded from the App Store, compatible with any iOS device running iOS 9.0 or above.
