With no sign of the next George R.R. Martin book on the horizon, and the end in sight for the acclaimed TV show adaptation, Game of Thrones need to get their songs of fire and ice wherever they can.

Fortunately, Warner Brothers has delivered in this area by finally announcing a release date for the upcoming mobile game Game of Thrones: Conquest. Developed by Turbine, Conquest is an MMO strategy game, set to land in the App Store later this month. Check out the trailer below.

Your chance to capture the Iron Throne

Game of Thrones: Conquest will arrive in the iOS App Store (as well as on Google Play) on October 19. While the teaser doesn’t do a whole lot more than serve as a pre-rendered mood piece to get us hyped for the game, it certainly does well in that capacity.

Conquest will allow players to create their own House and then defend it from rivals, while growing in strength and political influence across the Seven Kingdoms. In addition to characters from the TV show, it will also include a host of iconic locations such as Winterfell, Casterly Rock and King’s Landing.

At present, you can pre-register for the game. Doing this will net you $50 worth of goodies, including exclusive Night’s Watch training gear, as well as gold and resources you can use to aid your battle for the Iron Throne. Developer Turbine previously developed Asheron’s Call back in 1999, in addition to The Lord of the Rings Online and Batman: Arkham Underworld.
