Updated MacBook Air boasts faster processor and smaller price tag

As expected, Apple has introduced its refreshed line of MacBook Air models this morning. The updates don’t bring any major changes, but sport faster versions of Intel’s Haswell processors, and are $100 cheaper than their predecessors.

At time of writing, these updated models are available in several European countries, but they’ll most likely be landing in the U.S. and elsewhere very shortly.

Sadly but unsurprisingly, there’s no sign of the rumored 12-inch MacBook Air with Retina display, predicted to arrive in the second half of 2014 or later.

This is the first refresh of Apple’s MacBook Air line since mid-2013.
