Apple Clips adds new Disney and Pixar characters

Apple’s free Clips app for iOS just got even more fun!

A new update lets you add Disney and Pixar characters to your videos, and brings dozens of new graphic overlays and posters.

Unveiled back in March, Clips makes it easy to create more expressive videos using jusy your iPhone or iPad. You can use it to add fun effects like comic book filters, speech bubbles, shapes, and posters. Its latest updates makes it even better.

Clips 1.1 brings classic Disney and Pixar characters, including Mickey and Minnie Mouse and Donald and Daisy Duck, plus more recent favorites, like Woody and Jessie, Lightning McQueen, and Joy, Fear, and others from Inside Out.

In addition, there are new Disney-designed posters that you can add to your videos as title cards, plus 10 new Apple-designed overlays and 12 news posters that feature “dramatic graphics, beautifully rendered backgrounds and customizable animated text.”

Posters include glistening water, slow-motion billowing smoked, and 3-D pop-up art.

Clips is free to download on all iOS devices, and you’ll find it in the App Store now.
