Maybe the iPhone 8 will be great. But a product called SHIFTCAM has six reasons why you should keep or maybe upgrade to the iPhone 7 Plus.

The SHIFTCAM is a protective case for the 7 Plus that claims it is the first to feature a 6-in-1 dual lens, greatly expanding the view of the 7 Plus’s wide angle and telephoto lenses.

There are three rows of dual lens that shift in place provides a 180-degree fisheye, 120-degree wide-angle, a 10X macro, a 20X macro and two 2X telephoto lenses.

It is a sleek, black case and the bulbous little lenses make me feel like I am eye-to-eyes with a spider. SHIFTCAM sent me a pre-production model that I am anxious to try out. Being an iPhone 6s owner, I hope to borrow a friend’s iPhone 7 Plus soon for a thorough review.

The pictures in the video below and on the SHIFTCAM website look sharp.

The SHIFTCAM can be pre-ordered on Kickstarter for about $66 through June 8. It has reached its funding goal and is projected to begin shipping to early backers by August. After that, the SHIFTCAM will retail for $99.
