Apple hasn’t yet officially announced the existence of the iPhone 6s, 6s Plus and possibly iPhone 6c, but German provider Deutsche Telekom is already letting you place orders.

The carrier has set up a special “online reservation service” where would-be next-generation iPhone owners can get first dibs on the new handsets, set to be announced on September 9.

Deutsche Telekom doesn’t mention the new devices by name, but the timing of its new service is certainly fortuitous.

People who register on Deutsche Telekom’s webpage have to enter their contact information, redeem a ticket via SMS or email, and then make note of their preferred delivery service. Hey presto! No lines on iPhone launch day.

The service is on a first-come, first-served basis — or as Google Translate interprets Deutsche Telekom’s words, “You thus profit automatically from a preferred supply.”

Sadly, Deutsche Telekom doesn’t mention the exact date that the iPhone 6s will be shipping, but it’s certainly a great way of getting people to pick this carrier — even if only for the convenience of having home delivery as soon as possible.
