There’s a bewildering array of iPhone 5 cases to choose from — waterproof cases, cases that double as stands and even cases that carry business cards. But how many can double as a business card?
Findables Flex cases can, because they have QR codes stamped on the back that link to your contact or social media details.
With the help of a free companion app, the case’s owner can link the QR code to his personal and professional details, and switch the info gleaned from the code to one of three modes: a business mode that reveals professional info like name and phone numbers; a social media mode with links to Facebook and Twitter accounts; and a lost-phone mode that can provide the owner’s info — so long as the person who finds the phone is well-intentioned and knows what a QR code is.
The case comes in two flavors, both of which sell for $35 $30. The FlexStand has a protective polycarbonate shell with a rubber liner and a split spine so that half the case can snap back to form a stand. The FlexWrap case is the same, but without the stand function.
