Google+ For iOS Now Offers ‘Open In Chrome’ Feature, Teen Hangouts & More

Every app should have an “Open in Chrome” link.

Google has issued an update to Google+ for iOS that makes it the first app to offer an “Open in Chrome” button for URLs. Version 3.1 also brings teen Hangouts, and bug fixes that promise to improve performance.

When you stumble across a web link in the latest Google+ release, you’ll now have the option to open it in Chrome instead of mobile Safari — providing you have Chrome installed. This makes Google+ the first app — at least that I know of — that offers an “Open in Chrome” link for Google’s hugely popular browser.

In addition to this, the update allows teens to create and join Hangouts, and fixes an Instant Upload bug that promises to improve performance.

You can download Google+ version 3.1 from the App Store now using the source link below.
