Remember when we told you earlier today that Verizon was teasing something new and mysterious on the front page of its website? Well, it turns out that AT&T is doing exactly the same thing. If you visit att.com right now, you’ll see the above banner.

Get ready to see an exciting addition to our line-up.” iPad 3? Probably.

Considering Apple is the flagship partner for both Verizon and AT&T, it wouldn’t be a stretch at all to assume that both carriers want to build hype for the upcoming tablet. They obviously can’t say anything about the product until its demoed during tomorrow’s keynote, but why not help feed the anticipation?

Interestingly, Verizon seems to have taken down its teaser banner since this morning. Some are reporting they can still see it on the mobile version of Verizon’s home page, while we can’t seem to find it on the desktop. Perhaps it was put up prematurely.

Rumors are saying the third-gen iPad will feature LTE 4G networking, so AT&T and Verizon will likely be very happy to heavily market the world’s best tablet on their 4G networks. We just got world a little while ago that Verizon is installing LTE equipment in Apple retail stores, so expect interesting news tomorrow.
