I’d call it a rare sighting in setups featured on Cult of Mac, but I think it’s actually a first sighting ever — stacked dual displays held together by hinges. As such, they’re actually one product, the Uperfect Delta Dual Portable Monitor. To say the least, it’s unusual to see one in a home setup, driven in this case by an M4 MacBook Pro. And those two screens make up just half the setup’s total of four.

Redditor constantine_ext showcased the M4 MacBook Pro with unusual stacked-and-hinged dual external displays in a post entitled, “M4 MBP Setup.” The dual displays are a single product from a brand called Uperfect. It makes double portable monitors connected by hinges. It’s surprising to see it in a home workstation, especially flanked as it is by two more screens — the laptop and an iPad open on stands. The MacBook connects to the stands and other peripherals through Anker’s new Thunderbolt 5 dock — the Prime TB5 Docking Station, bristling with 14 ports.
I wasn’t the only person doing a double-take when I saw the post.
“Are those hinges on your monitors?” a commenter asked. “Yup those are hinges,” Constantine replied, adding that they’re a dual display from Uperfect.
What the displays lack in size, Constantine makes up for in numbers. The MacBook and iPad screens add substantially to the setup’s screen real estate.

Affordable mechanical keyboard and fun wallpapers
Another rarely seen item of note in Constantine’s setup? That mechanical keyboard. It’s an Aula wireless mechanical keeb with PBT keycaps and hot-swappable switches (you can easily swap them out for other switches without needing a soldering iron). And it’s pretty affordable on Amazon, at just under $70, minus 15% off you can score with a promo code available on the product page (for a final price around $60).
If you like the wallpapers showing on the screens, you can find the iPad one here. And live wallpapers for Mac are here or on sites like this one, Constantine said.
