The world got its first glimpse of upcoming Apple TV+ animated movie Wolfwalkers, thanks to a trailer dropped Tuesday.

The movie, directed by Oscar-nominated Tom Moore (Song of the Sea) and Ross Stewart, follows the adventures of a young apprentice hunter named Robyn Goodfellowe. She travels to Ireland in the 1600s to help her father in pursuit of a wolf pack — only to meet a girl who is part of a tribe rumored to turn into wolves at night.

U.K. carrier EE today introduced a new cellular plan that gives iPhone users full access to some of Apple’s best subscription services.

Full Works includes Apple Arcade, Apple Music, and Apple TV+ for the length of your contract. It also offers unlimited data, the option to upgrade your handset at anytime, and 5G connectivity.

EE says it’s the first time a carrier has struck this kind of deal with Apple.

Sofia Coppola’s forthcoming Apple TV+ movie On the Rocks will premiere at the New York Film Festival, which runs from September 17 through October 11 this year.

The movie reunites director Sofia Coppola with actor Bill Murray for the first time since 2003’s Lost in Translation. That movie won Coppola the Oscar for best original screenplay, while Murray was nominated for his acting performance.

Filming of Invasion, an ambitious alien invasion series for Apple TV+, is reportedly back on. It halted in March at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, but production resumed in the UK last week.

It’s been called “a large budget, ambitious, character driven genre show” by Deadline, and the cast includes Sam Neill.

Apple reportedly plans to start adding augmented reality (AR) content to Apple TV+ programming, Bloomberg claims in a report published Wednesday.

The AR feature, which will supposedly debut next year, aims to find “new ways to attract and retain” subscribers for Apple’s VOD subscription service. Apple also hopes to use it to show off its AR tech.
