Actress Jane Krakowski, perhaps best known for starring in Netflix’s Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and NBC’s 30 Rock, has reportedly signed on to join an Apple original TV series.

Krakowski will join the cast in Apple’s Dickinson series, a comedic look at the world of 19th century poet Emily Dickinson.

Apple TV veteran leaves the company to join ‘social broadcasting’ startup

Jen Folse, the former Apple TV executive who is best known to Apple followers for her on-stage presentations at Apple events, has left the company for the startup Caffeine.

Caffeine is a social broadcasting platform for gaming, entertainment, and other artistic content. Folse will take the role as new Vice President of Product, helping to company to create its product roadmap, among other things.

Epic denies that Fortnite is coming to Apple TV [Update]

Updated 3:20 p.m. August 21: Epic Games says it does not plan to bring Fortnite to Apple TV after all. “References to tvOS in the Fortnite files are the result of general Unreal Engine support for the Apple TV platform,” the company said in a statement sent to CNet.

As part of its effort to get a jump on the competition when it comes to 5G networks, Verizon reportedly plans to offer a free 4K Apple TV to customers.

Verizon will be the first mobile carrier to offer 5G residential broadband service in the U.S. later this year, and it’s trying to lure subscribers in with a deal on Apple TV 4k plus discounted YouTube TV, which usually costs $40 per month.

Breaking Bad co-star Aaron Paul has signed on to act in Apple’s upcoming Are You Sleeping? drama series.

Paul will join previously announced cast members Octavia Spencer and Lizzy Caplan. Other newly signed cast members will include This Is Us and Luke Cage actor Ron Cephas Jones, Weeds actress Elizabeth Perkins, ER actress Mekhi Phifer, Sons of Anarchy‘s Michael Beach, and others.
