WWDC25, this year’s edition of Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference, will take place June 9 to 13, offering Apple enthusiasts and developers a comprehensive look at upcoming software innovations in the latest iOS, macOS and other platforms, the company said recently. The WWDC25 schedule, updated this week with the new moniker “Sleek Peek,” offers developers and users alike plenty of excitement.

The mostly online annual tech showcase promises groundbreaking updates across Apple’s ecosystem while also welcoming over 1,000 developers and students to a special in-person celebration at Apple Park.

Updates: Apple Developer’s WWDC25 web page added the name “Sleek Peek” for developer conference proceedings. Lots of new user interface design elements to take a look at, for one thing, as suggested in our looks ahead to what we expect will be called iOS 26, iPadOS 26 and macOS 26. Updates are also expected for tvOS 26, watchOS 26 and visionOS 26. Apple also set up the YouTube livestream page, so you can sign up for alerts, like when the Keynote starts.

WWDC25 schedule, June 9-13: Keynote, Platforms State of the Union, group labs and more

This year’s announcement image features a rainbow-hued “WWDC25” with a much more subtle, eight-color rainbow design above it (with a rippling animation on the WWDC25 site).

The event begins with the Apple Keynote presentation on June 9 at 10 a.m. Pacific. We expect the company to unveil significant updates to its operating systems, including iOS 19, macOS 16 and the next iterations of watchOS, tvOS and visionOS. Industry analysts anticipate major announcements related to Apple Intelligence and other AI-powered features that could transform how users interact with their devices.

Following the Keynote, the more technically focused Platforms State of the Union will begin at 1 p.m. Pacific. It offers developers deeper insights into the new tools and frameworks that will power next-generation apps. Both presentations will stream live across multiple platforms, including apple.com, the Apple TV app and Apple’s YouTube channel.

Group and 1-on-1 labs

Throughout the week-long conference, Apple will host more than 100 technical sessions covering various aspects of app development. Apple Developer Program members will have exclusive access to online group labs and one-on-one appointments with Apple engineers and designers, providing valuable opportunities to receive direct guidance on implementing new technologies.

The conference also highlights Apple’s commitment to nurturing emerging talent through its Swift Student Challenge. This year marks the second time the company has recognized 50 Distinguished Winners who demonstrated exceptional coding skills. These promising young developers will participate in a special three-day experience at Apple Park in Cupertino, California.

Beta software releases follow

For Apple users, WWDC25 offers a glimpse into the future features that will soon arrive on their devices. The announcements made during the conference typically preview software updates that Apple will release in beta form shortly after the event. Public releases follow in the fall alongside new iPhones and other hardware.

All WWDC25 content will be accessible through the Apple Developer app, the WWDC25 website and Apple’s YouTube channel, allowing the global Apple community to participate in this celebration of technology and innovation regardless of location.
